How to Report a Player?

Thanks for helping keep Animal Company safe and welcoming.


There are two ways to report someone:


  1. Report them through Meta

    This is the fastest way to report harassment, threats, cheating, or unsafe behavior using Meta’s system tools: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/quest/758306784833457/

    Tip: If you feel uncomfortable, also block/mute the player right away so you don’t have to interact with them again.

  2. Send a report to the Animal Company team

    If you want us to review it too, please submit a support ticket with:

    1. A short video (under 10MB) showing what happened
    2. The player’s Meta Horizon @-ID
    3. A brief description (what happened + where/when)

Scams, “item stealing,” and unfair trades


We know losing items feels really frustrating.


In Animal Company, players can trade and interact freely, so a trade that was “unfair” usually isn’t considered a rule violation under current game rules.


How to protect yourself going forward

  1. Use the STASH system
    Store your favorite items in STASH so other players can’t access them. Learn more about how STASH works here.
  2. Don’t trade when you feel pressured
    If someone is rushing you, yelling, or making you feel uncomfortable: leave the game, block, and report.
  3. If you’re younger, get a trusted adult’s help with trades
    A parent/guardian/trusted adult can help you decide if something seems fair or suspicious.
