If you’ve received a ban in Animal Company VR or its Discord channel, you may have the option to appeal. Appeals are reviewed by our moderation team to ensure fairness.
Step 1: Understand the Rules and Ban System
All moderation actions are based on violations of the Code of Conduct. Animal Company uses a progressive moderation system, meaning penalties start small and increase if rule violations continue.
Moderation Ladder
Depending on behavior and past violations, actions may progress through the following steps:
Mutes
- 1 hour mute
- 3 hour mute
- 12 hour mute
- 1 day mute
- 3 day mute
- 7 day mute
Suspensions
- 1 day suspension
- 3 day suspension
- 7 day suspension
- 14 day suspension
- 30 day suspension
⚠️ Voice moderation is lenient at first and gives players opportunities to correct their behavior. Repeated or serious violations can lead to longer mutes or suspensions.
Step 2: Gather Details
Be ready to provide:
- Your Meta ID and email
- The date and type of ban you received
- A clear explanation of why you believe the ban was a mistake
- Any context that may help moderators understand the situation
Step 3: Submit Your Appeal
- Game bans: Go to the Support Portal, choose the Ban Appeal form, and fill it out with as much honest detail as possible.
- Discord bans: Check the ban notification you received from Dyno or Sapphire. Use the appeal link included in that message, and complete the form truthfully.

If you can’t access the appeal form:
- You may not currently have an active ban in the community, OR
- You are ineligible for appeal (this would have been stated in the original ban message).
Important Notes
- Some bans, especially for severe violations, may not be eligible for appeal.
- Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee your ban will be lifted.
- Always remain respectful and honest in your appeal.
