Will I Lose My Items and Progress?

No! Your Animal Company progress will be preserved as long as you log back into the same Meta account after the factory reset.

What Should I Do Before a Factory Reset?

Before resetting your headset, make sure you know which Meta account you're using to play Animal Company.

1. Check your Meta username. Make sure you know your Meta account details before resetting.
2. Back up important data. A factory reset removes apps, settings, and other locally stored data from your headset.
3. Factory reset your headset. Follow Meta's instructions to reset your device.
4. Sign back into the same Meta account. This is important to access your original Animal Company progress.
5. Reinstall Animal Company. Download the game again and check your progress.

What Happens If I Use a Different Meta Account?

Your Animal Company progress is tied to the Meta account you originally used. If you sign in to a different Meta account after resetting, your previous progress, cosmetics, and items will not appear on that account.

Important: Always use the same Meta account to access your existing game progress.
